The Interface Scale

Exploring the potential of dredging

activities to create new land forms and functions

The interface scale is structured around the Dredge Fest Great Lakes (DFGL) event.

The aim of the Interface Scale is to explore the potential of dredging activities to create new land forms and functions using both digital (parametric/generative, formal complexity) and physical ( dredge:soil, sand, clay, rock and water)

Modification of conventional dredge depositing technique by slight altering of a broadcaster can create dunes and

ultimately create patterns that can be used as an interface for growth of various organisms.
